Convert WebP to JPG in your browser
The image is decoded and re-encoded on your own device, so nothing is uploaded and there's no watermark or file cap.
- 1Open the free WebP to JPG converter.
- 2Drag in your .webp files, or click to browse for them.
- 3Each one is re-encoded as a high-quality JPG straight away.
- 4Download a single JPG, or a ZIP if you converted a batch.
Why so many apps reject WebP
WebP is a web delivery format. Browsers adopted it quickly because it cuts page weight, but desktop software, printers and upload validators moved much more slowly — many still only accept JPG and PNG.
That's why converting is usually faster than hunting for a plugin: JPG is the most universally supported image format there is, so the converted file works everywhere without further thought.
If your WebP has transparency
JPG cannot store transparency, so any see-through areas are flattened onto a white background. If you need the cut-out preserved — a logo, an icon, a product shot — convert to PNG instead, which keeps the alpha channel intact.
