Splitting, extracting or deleting — which one do you want?

These three operations overlap and it is easy to pick the wrong one. Splitting produces several files from one document. Extracting produces a single new file containing only the pages you chose. Deleting produces a single file with certain pages taken out and everything else kept.

So: pulling one invoice out of a batch is extraction; separating a 200-page scan into chapters is splitting; getting rid of a blank cover sheet is deletion.

What you get back

When a split produces more than one file, the results are packaged into a single ZIP so you get everything in one download rather than a stack of browser prompts. Each PDF inside is a real, standalone document with the original page content copied across untouched.

Text stays selectable, links and bookmarks that point within a kept range keep working, and image quality is identical to the source because nothing is re-encoded.
