Extracting keeps what you choose

Extraction and deletion arrive at the same place from opposite directions. Deleting means listing what you do not want and keeping the rest; extracting means listing what you do want and dropping the rest. When you need three pages out of two hundred, extracting is the one that saves your afternoon.

Choose pages by clicking their thumbnails or by typing ranges such as 1-3, 7, 10. The pages you pick are copied into a new PDF exactly as they were, with text still selectable and images at full resolution.

Order, quality and privacy

Extracted pages appear in their original document order regardless of the order you selected them in. If you need a different sequence, run the extracted file through the Reorder PDF Pages tool afterwards.

The extraction runs entirely inside your browser. That is worth knowing when the whole point of the exercise is that the other pages are confidential: the pages you did not select are never sent anywhere, because none of the file ever is.
